Herter's 1893 Series Bufflehead, Waseca Minnesota. This bird is one of the examples used in the factory for painting. Glass eyes, solid body, very good original paint, small age crack on back. Bottom has the factory stamp, and "bufflehead sample" painted on the bottom. In good condition, decoy measures 11-1/2" long, 4-1/2" wide, and 5" tall.
