Pair of Canvasbacks by Marv Meyer, Minnesota. Original paint, glass eyes, very nice examples in very good condition. These all wooden decoys have been hollowed out with foam added to the inside for extra flotation to ride the waves, making them almost unsinkable, a very unique design by this carver. Both have slightly turned heads, wooden keels, detailed carved wing & tail feathers. Bottoms have carver's brand, numbered, dated, and have "foam filled". Decoys measure approximately 14" long, 6-1/2" wide and 7-1/2" tall.
