Annual Midwest Decoy Show- April 18th - 23rd, 2016

The annual show is just around the corner, come see us for a large selection of decoys as well as other hunting and fishing collectibles.  Pheasant Run Resort in St. Charles, Illinois, we're in a different room this year.  We'll be in room 3206 Monday thru Thursday with our door open ready to buy, sell, trade, and give free appraisals.  Friday and Saturday we'll be set up in the Mega Center.  Hope to see you there. Show review - 2015

We'd like to thank all the vendors, and especially everybody that took the time to come out to the show in Utica this year.  It was good to see everybody, and nice to see several new vendors this year to join in the fun.  We're already starting to make plans for next years event, more and likely going to be the same place and same time of year since it worked out well this year.  In closing, just want to share a story that we will both remember for quite some time.  A young man came in to the show with his father this year and walked around looking at all the decoys for quite some time.  After the 2nd or 3rd visit to our table, and after continually looking at the Illinois River Style decoys, he came back to our table.  Dad looked at him and said, "you keep coming back to this table, well-- what are you going to do?".  We asked him if he had any decoys, and he said yes, he has 16 decoys in his own collection.  Dad told us he's been saving up for the show and was looking for a special decoy he wanted to add to his collection.  When it was all said and done, this nice young man walked out of the show with his first Perdew.  Thanks so much, Cody Anderson, for making our show.  It is so nice to see a young man like yourself with a passion already for this hobby. .

Sept. 13th Illinois Valley Hunting & Fishing Collectibles Show- Utica Illinois - New location this year.

  Mark your calendars- less than a month away.  NEW LOCATION this year- Grizzly Jacks Grand Bear Lodge, just a couple minutes off of Interstate 80, South of Utica Illnois past Starved Rock State Park. Open to the public 8am-2pm.  If you're staying the night before, mention the Decoy show and get a reduced rate which includes free admission to their indoor water park!  Hope to see you there.    

7th Annual Illinois Valley Hunting & Fishing Collectibles Show- Utica Illinois

34th Annual MDCA Decoy Show- January 29th - February 1, 2014.

National Midwest Decoy Collectors Association Show

This week is the National Decoy Show, held at Pheasant Run Resort in St. Charles, Illinois.  Make sure to get out for the room to room trading thru Thursday, and then the Show on Friday and Saturday that's held in the Mega Center.

Great Lakes Decoy Show 2013

How's everyone doing?  Well, we're doing great!  Just got back on Sunday from an excellent 5 days in Westlake, Ohio.  Folks, believe me when I tell you the Great Lakes Decoy Association Show is alive and well.  We enjoyed our time there very much and look forward to returning next year.  Hats off to all the people who worked so hard to make this years show a success.  The room to room trading was steady action throughout the event with sales being pretty good.  Found some nice additions for the collection, picked up some other items via trades and of course the auction on Saturday morning.  Guyette, Schmitt, & Deeter had a nice selection of decoys, a few calls, and some other odds and ends on the auction block. We had a wonderful time at the closing dinner Saturday night and hope that becomes a yearly event.  Was a very nice way to wind down and end the weeks events.  Fun Fun Fun!
